  • You’ll stay in traditional Berber guesthouses, offering a chance to experience local culture and hospitality.

  • Bring or rent a high-quality mountain bike suited for rugged terrain, along with essential gear such as helmets, repair kits, and hydration packs.

Itinerary

Morning Drive from Marrakech to Imlil (around 1.5-2 hours), a popular starting point for mountain adventures in the High Atlas. Ride Start your ride from Imlil, ascending towards the Tizi n'Tamatert Pass (2,279m). The climb is challenging but offers incredible views of the surrounding valleys. Descent After reaching the pass, descend into the Imenane Valley, passing through remote Berber villages like Tinghrine and Ikkiss. Overnight Stay in a traditional guesthouse in the Imenane Valley.

Ride Begin with a ride through the Imenane Valley before tackling the ascent to Tizi n’Agersioual Pass (1,650m). This route offers a mix of dirt tracks and single tracks, surrounded by terraced fields and walnut groves. Descent Enjoy a thrilling descent into the Azzaden Valley, one of the most picturesque areas in the High Atlas, dotted with traditional Berber villages like Tizi Oussem and Id Aissa. Overnight Stay in a guesthouse in the Azzaden Valley.

Ride Continue biking through the Azzaden Valley, then climb up to the Tizi n'Tacht Pass (2,100m). This day involves a mixture of challenging ascents and enjoyable descents with panoramic views. Descent Descend towards the Ouirgane Valley, where the landscape changes to more forested areas and olive groves. Overnight Stay in a guesthouse or lodge in Ouirgane, a peaceful village known for its natural beauty.

From From Ouirgane, ride through the scenic roads and trails towards Asni, passing through several small Berber villages. This route is less challenging, offering a more relaxed pace as you approach the end of your journey. Return to Marrakech After reaching Asni, load your bikes and drive back to Marrakech (about 1.5 hours).
