The departure takes place at 8:00 am from your accommodation in Marrakech. We drive along the way, crossing the High Atlas Mountains, where we will be able to see several Berber villages. There are relaxation and photo stops at many beautiful landscapes and sites, including the highest point in the Tichka Pass (2660m), the Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah, a 16th-century fortress classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Many big movies have been filmed there, such as Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, and Prince of Persia. We also visit Ouarzazate city, known as the world of cinema, as well as the Amridil Kasbah in Skoura Oasis and the city of roses, Kalaat Megouna.
After breakfast, the journey starts with a visit to the Dades Gorges and Valley. Then we drive to Tinghir to visit the Todra Gorges before continuing to the Merzouga Desert. We cross Tinjdad, Erfoud, and Rissani before reaching the Erg Chebbi. Upon arrival, we refresh with mint tea and embark on a camel ride for an hour and a half, crossing the sand dunes to the camp. We enjoy dinner and a campfire with local music under the bright stars.
An early wake-up call for sunrise, followed by breakfast and a camel ride back to the camp. Then, we set off for Fes through Erfoud, Errachidia, the Ziz Valley, with lunch in Midelt. We pass through the Cedar Forest and encounter monkey troupes in Azrou before making a stop in Ifrane, known as the "Lion City". Finally, we drop you off at your accommodation in Fes.
